• You are a Misfit, a wandering outcast, dismissed as “feeble minded” and worthless. Yet, your foolishness allows you to mock traditions and culture, to hold a mirror to the powerful.
• One day, you awaken at the entrance of a strange, otherworldly Dungeon, some kind of cavernous, labyrinthine fortress. You have no memory of who you were, where you came from, or how you wound up in the Dungeon.
• In the first room, you see an object that you somehow recognize! When you pick it up, some of your memories flood back in!
• Somehow, you know that three more special items belonging to you are lost somewhere within the Dungeon. And someone, a dangerous and deadly nemesis, the Madcap, waits for you within the Dungeon’s depths. You don’t know who they are, only that they are somehow connected to you, or who you once were.
• Enter the Dungeon, to recover your memories and identity, and save your life. Face your past, face the Madcap, face yourself…

You will need:

• A standard deck of playing cards
• Two six sided dice (2d6)
• Tokens to represent your Misfit and the Madcap
• A print out of the character sheet
• A pencil or pen
